As part of the Aveiro 2024 - Portuguese Capital of Culture programme, the ‘Sobretudo’ cycle is back, an initiative that proposes the presentation of artistic creations in unexpected places during the winter. After a first stage, between January and March, which involved the Vista Alegre factory, the University of Aveiro Library and the Salão Nobre of the PSP - Aveiro District Command, the new proposals will be presented until December in the Rossio Car Park, the Fire Station and the Dr. Mário Sacramento Secondary School, with three shows.
The new stage of ‘Sobretudo’ kicks off on 20 November with the performance Traumatheatre - variação isolada (sopro), by Pedro Barreiro and Silvana Ivaldi, in the Rossio car park. On 28 November it's the turn of Czech musician TomአNiesner to perform a concert of ambient electronic music at Quartel dos Bombeiros-Velhos. Finally, Miguel Moreira will present his performance Zona de Vigia at the Dr Mário Sacramento Secondary School.
The performances in the ‘Sobretudo’ cycle always take place at 9.30pm and admission costs €5. A joint ticket of €10 can be purchased for all three shows. Tickets are available from the Aveirense Theatre box office or Ticketline.
