Siricaia end tour at Teatro Aveirense

On the 26th of March, Siricaia will take the stage at Teatro Aveirense for the last concert of their national tour. A concert in a festive tone with Freddy Strings, Chef Silva, Carlos Lázaro and Gonçalo Lemos, who join this duo from Aveiro for a celebration of Portuguese music.

Siricaia emerged in 2019 and are formed by Susie Filipe (percussion and vocals) and Vítor Hugo (vocals and guitar). Their first album is "Família Fandango", a work supported by Teatro Aveirense which portrays the life of a typically Portuguese family through music, painting, literature and video. Four generations depicted on a journey back to the roots, aboard contemporary and electronic sounds. From traditional Portuguese rhythms to jungle swing, with national percussions and electric guitars dressed as cavaquinho, Siricaia explore different artistic influences, looking for new answers to old questions.

Using a strong component of imagery, “Fandango Family” involved 18 Portuguese artists from various artistic backgrounds and proposes new ways of looking at the identity of past, present and future Portuguese families. All this to see and hear at Teatro Aveirense, after a long journey of concerts that took place all over the country.

Tickets for the show cost €5.00 and can be purchased at the Teatro Aveirense box office or through ticketline.pt.
