Dance and its disappearance at Teatro Aveirense

Dance by a new generation of choreographers and performers is the challenge set by Teatro Aveirense for January 29. VANISHING is presented at 9:30 p.m. in the Studio Room and brings together Beatriz Valentim and Bruno Senune in their first joint collaboration.
VANISHING is a two-part piece, with two performers and two discourses, in which each composes a choreographic score for the other. They repeat patterns and movements, forming two solos that can be seen as a duet. Beatriz Valentim and Bruno Senune take on the roles of performers and choreographers, seeking to give shape to ephemerality and address the idea of memory, using the fleeting nature of dance and performance as their raw material.
Between appearance and disappearance, VANISHING presents itself as a loop that captures bodies and their movements in a rigorous and poetic way.
