Teatro Aveirense acknowledges the public space as essential in its activity, defining areas and programming aesthetics appropriate to this framework. In this sense, Praça da República presents itself as a natural stage, receiving projects which affirm its performance abroad, in a logic that complements its festival calendar: Festival dos Canais (Festival of the Canals), Criatech and Prisma. It starts with the landscape, geography and dialogue with the architecture and classified heritage which surround the building, resulting in cultural creation and enjoyment.
