The story of three sisters on their way to school at Teatro Aveirense

On 14 December at 4 pm, Teatro Aveirense will host a performance by the Catalan theatre company Campi Qui Pugui. ‘A Caminho da Escola’ (On the Way to School) draws inspiration from real stories to address the role of children in today's world and the obstacles they face in many parts of the world.

‘A Caminho da Escola’ tells the extraordinary story of three sisters who face daily obstacles and dangers to get to school. A suggestive, visual and wordless show, inspired by real stories of children from around the globe. These are independent and capable children, eager to learn and change their world, with a universal and moving message.

This is a visual journey through a landscape filled with sounds, music and the sisters' own dialect as they sing, play and talk, without the need to understand a single word they say. The story is guided by a discreet character who leads the audience through the narrative and embodies the human figures in the story, all wrapped up in a setting that suggests the idea of a path, a journey and circularity.

‘A Caminho da Escola’ is a show for children aged 6 and over, capable of enchanting audiences of all ages and ideal for families to enjoy together.
