Open-call for project combining dance and architecture

Teatro Aveirense is promoting a call for entries for the Percursos pela Arquitetura (Architectural Journeys) project, an initiative that promotes interaction and communication between two disciplines that are seemingly distant but deeply interconnected: dance and architecture.
The call is aimed at students of different dance styles, aged 15 and over, who enjoy choreography and are willing to try their hand at creating a short dance piece related to informal spaces under guidance.
Rehearsals for Percursos Pela Arquitetura will take place at the Homem Cristo Secondary School from 6 April to 7 May, with performances on 8, 10 and 11 May. The project is the brainchild of Ana Figueira, from Companhia Instável.
